Tokai Reborn Old (1980 - super rare) in Horfield, Gloucestershire for sale

Very reluctantly having to sell my Tokai Reborn Old Goldtop. Reborn Olds were made for only 6 months in 1980 and are therefore really, really rare now. This is an amazing vintage, rare, and highly collectable Les Paul. Recent pro set up. Guitar is in great condition and is a real players guitar. Action is really low with no fret buzz. Most people will be familiar with the lawsuit era of made in Japan guitars, the main point is that Gibson sued Tokai because their Les Paul's were pretty much superior to the Gibson versions. Pickups are factory original Gotoh PAFs, model is an LS50 I believe, however it's no different to the LS80 I've got on the wall next to it. I can't forward the serial number as some geezer has tried to scam a guitar off me recently using the photos and number etc From a collectors perspective this is a dream, all original and in good condition, (plus, they aren't going to make any more!) From a players perspective this is a great buy; sounds amazing like a vintage LP should, great price, cool look, amazing low action, ideal workhorse for a gigging axeman. This guitar is an absolute beast, sadly selling due to lack of room. Wonderful brazillian mahogany tone wood body and the aging process has really enhanced this sound. You can't create the sound of aged tone woods in new guitars and this is a beautiful example of a great playing and sounding Les Paul. Plays the Gibson reissues off the park, so much so I got rid of my R8 & R9 simply cos this was much better. Sadly running out of room now If I had the space is love to keep this under the bed as I'm sure in 10-20 years the value will be astronomical. Great investment piece and ultimately an amazing guitar Bit of light buckle rash on the back Trades: would only really be interested in Les Paul standards, or nice reissues (Gibson only) But have little or no room to consider anything else
